A "djiin" is a mischievious spirit sometimes confined in a bottle due to reprehensible acts. Dgiin (pronounced Gin) is a 4 piece band, mixing musical styles from funk to latin and reggae. It is sometimes described as melodic french grooves due to the majority of songs that are in french.

A message from Dgiin: "1/2 Pint Dgiin plays every Tuesday at Stumptown Brewery in Guerneville (6-9pm), Wednesday at the Blue Heron in Duncan's Mills (6:30-9pm), Friday at Sweet Spot in Santa Rosa (5:30-8pm), Saturday at Mosaic, in Forestville (6-9 pm) and Sundays at Jasper's in Sebastopol (8-12 pm). These are subject to change so call for details."
