Hi, my name is Nate.  I play vinyl records primarily, with a laptop on the side to boost the selection, especially for more modern music.  I have a large collection of records ranging from the 60s through now, across all genres.  I have all the favorites plus some yet to be favorites.  My playlist can easily be catered to your needs and wants.  In fact, if you give me an exact songlist, I can play only songs on your list.  If you're looking for a more hands-off approach, I can take cues and requests from your guests.  I don't play house, trance, drum n bass, or any techno. 

The bulk of my collection is from the 70s and 80s, but I either have or can get anything.  A wi-fi connection at the event location makes every song possible without advance notice (really good for requests).  I have a couple of disco lights, but nothing too extravagant.  This is one of the ways I pass the savings onto you.

I am not one of those DJs who likes to talk between songs.  If announcements need to be made, or the best man wants to get on the mic for a speech, or that kind of thing is perfectly fine, but I'm not on the radio.  I don't mindlessly chatter between songs.  I find that to be rude and completely intrusive to the guests.  I also will not approach your guests asking what songs they want to hear.  I find that when people want to hear a song, they have no problem approaching the DJ to ask. 

My rates vary depending on the date of the event, the location, and a few other factors.  I ask for a deposit, 25% of the target price.   That deposit will secure your date.  If hours end up going longer, that is fine too, but the same hourly rate will apply.  Final payment is due on the day services are rendered.
